4th of July, Fireworks Flotilla Raft Up - Safety Harbor Bay

Following the 4th of July pool party, the Commodore will lead an "all boats" Flotilla to Safety Harbor bay. We are looking for at least three larger cruisers to act as anchor boats for the raft ups. We are seeking as many of our small boats as can make it. We are looking to transport as many as two dozen non-boat owners as crew to see the fireworks in addition to our boat owners and their families. If you haven't done a group boat event, this is a fun and challenging one. It involves anchoring and rafting, followed by a night run to home (make sure your running lights are good!. This event will highlight the advantages of our small boat fleet in terms of our club's flexibility, agility and mission capability. Boat Captains, please register ASAP. Especially the smaller boats, as the tide will prevent our cruisers from returning at night through channel A. A Captain's safety briefing will be set up a few days prior (TBA).
